Cafe au Play is now serving Stumptown’s Regular and Decaf House Blends and Hairbender Espresso! All of Cafe au Play’s baristas have completed Stumptown’s extensive training program.

Cafe au Play is very excited about our partnership with Stumptown.  We made the decision to change coffee vendors because access to Stumptown’s training classes will assist Cafe au Play in improving our Volunteer Barista Program which has been gaining momemtum over the past year.  To learn more about this program:  http://cafeauplay.org/barista-training-program/.

Stumptown’s knowledgeable staff and exceptional initial training class have already improved the quality of Cafe au Play’s expresso drinks.  Erin Deale, Cafe Manager, said, “I made the best latte I have ever made during my training session!”  This completely surprised me because Erin has been in the coffee business for five years!

We are also excited to be providing high quality coffee sourced almost exclusively through direct trade relationships.
