I am excited to announce the Artist of the Month for August – Erin Deale, Cafe Manager for Cafe au Play! Please come in this month to check out Erin’s photography – she is very talented!

Erin’s Bio: I am inspired by the random, odd bits of nature and American culture that often go unnoticed. My photographs feature otherworldly landscapes, abandoned miniature golf courses, skeletal remains of produce stands and colorful farm equipment.

I use art to show others how I experience the world without using words, which often seem to me to be complicated and ineffective. I believe that an image evokes a reaction from its viewer that is pure and unbiased compared to that of a word.

I have participated in various fairs, festivals, and exhibitions in Oregon and my home state of Maryland. I have experience with wedding/event and portrait photography and am available for hire on select dates.
